When i listen to schoolkids or uni kids talking, i don't understand a thing they say. How about a thread where falang can ask how to say something in thai that maybe isn't in the dictionary or older people wouldn't know, or Thai people can ask the meaning of some falang phrases?

For me, I"m trying to find out the thai word for when you like somebody, and you think they like you, but you havn't really discussed your relationship or what's happening? Is there such a word? There isn't really in english. Some people told me "gig" but i thought that was more for when you both know you are just having fun but nothing serious...

Gig is a thai word , not english but sounds english .in thailand we use this word for name people like " Sumo Gig "
Have you ever heard this name in some thai tv program . he is a host of a varity program .
The meaning of gig that you understand might be right because in my oppinion I've heard some defination
of this word (and I already forgot ,found in thai newspaper)for example ..they have rules for people who want to
be gigs ...like a kinda cheater or having affair without relationship and some way they said just a little bit of
relationship but not so deep and nothing more that chating with. But it could be only one way that I try to explane
or both anyway you can guess what is its meaning by yourself .

For me, I think Nerd is "Dek-Rian" in Thai.
